Attractions : Khaju Bridge
The finest of Isfahan's bridges, the Kahaju Bridge
was built by Shah Abbas II in about 1650. Howewer,
the bridge is beleived to have crssed the waters
here for the time of Tamerlane.
It also functions as a dam, and has aways been as
much a meeting place as a bearer of traffic.
132m in length, has two levels of terraced arcades :
the lower containing locks regulating water flow.
In the center, a pavilion was built exclusively for
Shah Abbas II pleasure.
